Kerry
Hucul (Captain/Chef) originally trained in
advertising and public relations for large hotels and
dinner theatres throughout North America (P.R. for such
legends as Gale Gordon of "I Love Lucy").
After living and working in various countries, from
England, Belgium and Germany to Canada, the US and
Mexico, she operated a successful restaurant for six
years before deciding that a different way of life was
definitely in order. Kerry co-owned a SCUBA/kayaking
tour company for three years on Canada's Bay of Fundy
before deciding to make the winter trips south a
permanent way of life. Over the past four years with
Promenade, Kerry has completed many charters from Puerto
Rico to Grenada, with parties ranging in size from two
to fourteen. This fall, Kerry obtained her MCA
Yachtmaster Offshore license with a sailing competency
and is also STCW 95 compliant. She is very eager to
share her part of paradise with you.
Barry
"Baz"
Cooper (Engineer/First Mate)
recently joined Kerry Lynn and Promenade
after spending a year as Chief Engineer and First Mate
on Lonestar, one of the largest charter cats in
the area. He originally hails from Australia and has
been sailing for 25 years. Baz spent 20 year in trade
school for various mechanics and as well has built
several boats, including "Alley Cat" a 37 foot
catamaran that he sailed around the east coast of
Australia for 18 months. Besides the fact that he can
sail or fix anything on a yacht, he is an avid SCUBA
diver and has a love of seeing new places. He is very
pleased to be working together with Kerry Lynn running Promenade.
Natasha
Were (Stewardess/SCUBA Instructor) born and raised
in Mallorca, although British, Natasha spent two years
teaching SCUBA diving in the British Virgin Islands
before leaving to take a trip around the world last
spring. She then returned to England and decided that
sitting in an office filing was just not her! So, she
quickly took the opportunity to return to the islands
and join Promenade.
When
necessary, Promenade is joined by a 4th
complementing crew member, whether it be a second
stewardess, deckhand or additional SCUBA instructor.
